July 2025 Volunteer of the Month!

Congratulations to Sydney Leavitt,
CRAN’s July 2025 volunteer of the month!

Sydney has been volunteering with CRAN since 2023. Sydney is currently fostering as well as volunteering on the Marketing Team.

Lyllian B nominated Sydney and in her nomination said:

“Most recently Sydney has been volunteering with the Marketing Team and helping with social media. Their knowledge and talent have been invaluable. They have worked to improve our following on Instagram. Sydney has shown initiative and created compelling posts and I have received great feedback from others on our posts like the weekly highlights. Sydney also volunteers to help when needed and recently designed a new template for sharing our monthly and quarterly statistics. Thank you Sydney!”

When asked what they liked about volunteering with CRAN and how they got started Sydney said:

“I started volunteering with CRAN as a foster in 2023. I still foster for yall and currently have 3 kittens. I love my work with CRAN because not only do I get to help young cats get socialized and to their forever homes, but I also get to celebrate every cat who goes through us with our weekly round up posts. One of my favorite things is when I get to see a long timer get adopted.

I’ve been a cat person since birth and it’s so fulfilling to help all of our cats here at CRAN with my social media experience and by welcoming them into my home.
