Volunteer of the Month – June 2019

Mimi Von Rotz

Mimi began fostering for our all-volunteer cat rescue group in the Fall of 2016. From her Cottage Grove home, she’s had some challenging situations that put her good heart and fortitude to the test to help them thrive. Another key role she took on is responding to the phone calls that come in from the public to our main CRAN phone line. She responds directly with a return call when she can, and redirects for action to other lead volunteers as the situation requires. And she keeps it up even when she’s traveling far and wide to see family. Mimi, along with other supportive volunteers, helped our group rescue 500 cats and find new homes for 560 cats last year. Thank you, Mimi, for being a part of that success and more to come.
