Joe
Joe is a sweet and handsome 2 ½ year old short-haired black male kitty. He loves giving kisses and drools if you love on him. Joe loves to have his tummy rubbed--the more you push on his belly the better! He gets along well with dogs but would definitely prefer to be the only cat in the home. He loves playing with feathers, toys on strings and laser pointers. Joe has been harness trained and loves going for walks; however, make sure to use a sturdy leash as he is a big boy and he likes to run! Joe adores attention and will insert himself into your lap or face when he is ready for some loving. Joe wants to be involved in everything you do and is incredibly perceptive to human moods (he even comes running when he senses sadness). This wonderful boy is looking for a family or single person to share all the love he has to give. Joe has been tested for feline leukemia and FIV (he isnegative), neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, defleaed and dewormed, plus you get a free vet exam. Joe is currently in foster care; to meet him, submit an adoption application for consideration online at www.CatRescues.org/forms) or paper copy available at the store. Joe is being sponsored by his foster mom at a special adoption fee of $60, which allows us to continue help cats in need. Stewie
STEWIE is a beautiful little 4-month-old pale orange tabby male kitten with a white muzzle, chest, and paws. He and his siblings were born to someone’s unfixed mama cat, and have lived their whole lives in a loving foster home. Stewie is a sweet, affectionate little boy who loves cuddling with his foster family and his sister Mopsy. He is very active and playful with a constant purr motor and a sweet soft voice when asking for food or attention. He loves people and gets along very well with the other cats in the home. He is gentle and great with children. He hasn’t been exposed to dogs, with his easy going, mellow personality, he would most likely adapt to them quickly. Like most energetic and social young kittens, Stewie would do best in a household with at least one other playful young cat or kitten. Stewie has been tested for feline leukemia and FIV (negative), neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, defleaed and dewormed, plus you get a free vet exam. Cougar
COUGAR is a handsome little black and gray tabby male kitten not quite 3 months old, with dramatic dark mackerel stripes. He is a very social, super sweet boy who will seek out any attention that he can get. Born in a feral colony, he was rescued at about 3 weeks old and bottle fed in a loving foster home. He has always been a leader, showing his siblings how to do everything. He’s very socialized with other kittens (especially his brother Olly), cats, and kids. Cougar loves to play with his siblings or cuddle with his humans (he’s so trusting that he goes limp when you pick him up). It is critical that he be adopted into an active household with another kitten (such as Olly) or other playful young kitty. [Please note that unlike Olly, does not seem to like dogs] It doesn’t take much to get Cougar’s quiet little purr going! Cougar has been tested for feline leukemia and FIV (negative), neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, defleaed and dewormed, plus you get a free vet exam. MimiCat
MimiCat is a pretty brown tabby short-haired female kitty with white fur in a tuxedo pattern, and some striking soft orange patches. She is a very sweet, somewhat shy, 14-year-old senior girl who LOVES to be on your lap, and shows it by talking to you and drooling! Although she is a talker, it is only when it’s time for her food or when she knows it’s time to sit on your lap. Although she is quite calm and mellow, she does enjoy her toys and her scratching post. MimiCat was brought to a vet for euthanasia by her owner who was becoming homeless; her bloodwork showed her to be a very healthy cat, and so CRAN intervened and put her into a loving foster home (she has had a complete dental). This darling, affectionate kitty has been bounced around a lot throughout her life, and she is looking for a quiet, stable forever home to live out her golden years. She has tested negative for feline leukemia and FIV, and has been spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, defleaed and dewormed – plus you get a free vet visit. MimiCat is currently in foster care. For adoption consideration, complete an application at www.CatRescues.org/forms or paper copy available at either Eugene PetSmart store. Rocket
ROCKET is an adorable, loving little short-haired black, gray, and tan tabby female kitten just over 3 months old. She and her twin sister Thanos were found motherless at about 2 weeks old, and were raised as bottle babies – thus they are very used to being handled. She is a little smaller than her sister, and has “sad kitty” eyes. Rocket is the more cuddly and chill of the two girls, but she still has plenty of kitten energy and will race around the house just like a little rocket! In her loving foster home, she’s been raised with kids, a big dog and a grumpy old cat – so she’s used to just about anything. As an active and sociable young kitten, it is imperative that she be in a home with another kitten (such as her sister) or other playful young cat. Rocket has been tested for feline leukemia and FIV (negative), spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, defleaed and dewormed, plus you get a free vet exam. In her loving foster home, she’s been raised with kids, a big dog and a grumpy old cat – so she’s used to just about anything. Bud Wizer
BUD WIZER is an extra large and handsome black and gray tabby male estimated to be about 5 years old. He was found as a stray in bad shape – very thin and with an abscessed leg. When his rescuer picked him up, he wasn’t even scared – he just wanted to be petted and loved on! With lots of TLC, Bud is healthy and all healed up now! He is a sweet, well-mannered boy who doesn’t pick fights -- he gets along well with his fellow foster kitties. He has tested positive for FIV (the feline immunodeficiency virus), which means that he must be an indoor-only kitty for his lifetime, but with some precautions to protect his immune system, he will likely lead a normal life. The virus can't be passed to dogs or to people, and only to other cats through a deep bite wound (while he would be safest as an only cat, he does get along great with other mellow cats). He has been thoroughly checked out by a vet, and has had a complete dental. If your family is in the market for one loving, laid-back dude of a cat, well, Bud Wizer is your man! He has been tested for feline leukemia (he is negative), neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, defleaed and dewormed – plus you get a free vet visit. His adoption fee is $60, which is strictly to help cover our costs. Bud is currently in foster care, but would be happy to make your acquaintance by appointment. . Pepper .
 . Pepper . . Pepper . . Pepper .
Pepper
Pepper is a super sweet tuxedo kitty who is around 12 years old. His foster and rescuer describes him as the most loving boy ever. This lovebug is a quiet cat and expert nap taker. He loves attention and loves to give head bumps. Pepper was abandoned by his previous owners. He had a microchip but when they were called they didn’t want him back. He was on his own for awhile and has some health issues as a result. He had a lump on his jaw but after a dental cleaning and teeth extractions it has decreased in size. He is in the early stages of kidney disease and his adopter will need to work with a vet as it progresses. Pepper is also FIV+ and can live a normal life with good medical care. It can only be passed to other cats through a deep bite wound. Pepper does well with other mellow cats. Pepper is so ready to find a home where someone understands his needs and will treasure the time he has left to give them all the head bumps he can. He would so love to find a safe and quiet place to live out his days. All he asks for is food, snuggles and a lap to sleep on. Pepper was previously neutered, is up to date on vaccinations, has had a recent dental cleaning/extractions, is microchipped, has been treated for fleas and dewormed and tested for FELV (-) /FIV (+) and he comes with a free vet visit. Pepper's adoption fee is $60 and helps Cat Rescue and Adoption Network help more homeless cats. He is currently in foster care, and his adoption fee is $60. If you are interested in meeting Pepper, please submit an adoption application for consideration either online (www.CatRescues.org/forms) or paper copy available at the store. ID# 1809-C0422. Mouse
My name is MOUSE (formerly “Bat Mouse”), and I’m a slightly fluffy little 6-month-old male teenager kitten who is black with curly belly fur and bright golden eyes. I got my name because when I was rescued, I was a very tiny boy who looked like a baby bat, and I had silver tuffs behind my ears like a baby mouse. My siblings and I were born in a garden shed the first week in May, and we were rescued and fostered by a loving family. I like being picked up, and I am a lap kitty once I have been fed and played with. I love to nuzzle and cuddle...my kitty motor is always on. I adore romping around with my brothers, and like most energetic and social young kittens, I should be in a household with another kitten (like my brother Flash) or other playful young cat. Mouse has been tested for feline leukemia and FIV (negative), neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, defleaed and dewormed, plus you get a free vet exam. Kitty is currently in foster care. My name is JET (also known as Big Boy), and I got my nickname because I am the biggest of my brothers. I am a 6-month-old male teenager kitten with golden eyes, fluffy black fur, a bushy tail and a silver undercoat on my belly. My siblings and I were born in a garden shed the first week in May, and we were rescued and fostered by a loving family. I love wrestling with my brothers, toys and strings, but I am a lover who is also happy sitting on your lap or sleeping on your chest. I like being brushed and petted. I have a very mellow personality, and hanging out is probably one of my best qualities. Looking at my feet, it is likely I will grow up to be a pretty large kitty cat! I am active and sociable, and would enjoy being in a household with another kitten or playful young cat – but I might also be OK on my own as long as I get lots of attention and am not left alone a lot. Jet has been tested for feline leukemia and FIV (negative), neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, defleaed and dewormed, plus you get a free vet exam. Kitty is currently in foster care. GK Roxy (Grey Kitty Roxy) is a luxurious long-haired solid grey beauty with possible Nebelung (Russian Blue mix) pedigree who is 5 1/2 years old. She was found wandering her neighborhood after her owners moved out of state in May. A kind neighbor noticed her unusual elegance and gained her trust. Once inside a safe and quiet home, it turns out GK is an adoring lap cat who can easily spend an hour being quietly brushed. Her long fur is soo soft and works its own therapy on you just from a gentle touch. Her ideal home would be indoors, as an only cat , although she may adjust to another friendly ca t. She loves to be next to you at night and would be good company for grown-ups. Her litter box and scratching post habits are as elegant as she is and she is ready to try again for a forever home. She enjoys a lively game of feather toy and can engage in an eager conversation on occasion. GK has been tested for feline leukemia and FIV (negative), spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, defleaed and dewormed, plus you get a free vet exam. Minnie
MINNIE is a sweet little tuxedo female kitty about a year old. She came to CRAN as a stray with one-day-old kittens, and was an excellent and attentive mother in her foster home. She is ready now for a forever home of her own! She is an energetic and petite girl who enjoys being petted and doted on. Once she becomes comfortable with you, her playfulness and curiosity emerge! She loves being around people, and wants to be in your lap anytime you will let her. Minnie will tolerate other cats and is nonreactive to dogs, but she can be very dominant/aggressive with cats who are shy or submissive. She is also a “talkative” cat, so her adopters need to be accepting of her frequent mews. She is very focused on going outside (although she never strays far), so she needs to be an indoor/outdoor kitty in a home with a VERY SAFE outdoor environment. She has been tested for feline leukemia and FIV (she is negative), spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, defleaed and dewormed, plus you get a free vet exam. Boots
BOOTS is a gorgeous long-haired, male tuxedo cat about 12 years old with the most adorable white mustache and spot on his nose. He is DECLAWED on his front paws and so needs to be an indoor-only fellow (which he has been his whole life). He is a gentle and well-behaved guy with a soft purr until he has something to say and can then be quite a talker. His lifelong owner transitioned to a nursing home and Boots was left behind. His sadness at the sudden loss of all he knew took him several weeks to acclimate to his new foster home. Boots likes to follow you around and be right next to you to supervise but doesn’t care to be touched too much. He is a good eater when he knows you are near. He's a funny guy with bursts of energy, running around like a spry young cat for 10-15 minutes. He can become very anxious when being picked up. Learning to respect his boundaries with patience and kindness will reward you with his trust and love. He’s good at communicating and will sleep by your feet. His favorite toy is a peacock feather - but just the pointy end! Boots needs to be an only cat and in a home without young kids. He will make a wonderful kitty for a quiet person or couple looking for a delightful and loving companion. As he becomes more comfortable in his new home, his behavior becomes more trusting. He has been tested for feline leukemia and FIV (he is negative), neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, defleaed and dewormed, plus you get a free wellness exam. Boots' adoption fee is $60. He is currently in foster care. For more information please call 541-225-4955 option 1 or send an email to adoptinfo@CatRescues.org. ID# 1609-C0518R. 11/13/18 11:34 PM

Lionardo
LIONARDO is an adorable little 4-month-old sleek black panther male kitten who is one of the sweetest, calmest kittens you will ever come across. Lionardo and his twin brother Trevi were part of a litter born to someone’s pet unfixed mama kitty, and the mom and her kittens were then surrendered to a CRAN volunteer who has lovingly raised them. These 2 brothers inherited their momma cat’s capacity for love and patience – they adore lap time and enjoy one-on-one with any human in the mood for cuddles. They enjoy chasing strings and dashing after their felt ball or stuffed mouse, capturing their prey. Both kittens have experienced the attention of young children who put them in sweatshirt pockets for safekeeping with no objection. They share a quiet disposition prone to long chats with you and cuddling in your bed. They would do best being adopted together, and are being sponsored by their foster mom at a special adoption fee of $190 for the pair (the normal fee is $130 per kitten). The foster mom for these little ones has found it difficult to give them up, but knows that the right match for these babies is out there! Lionardo has been tested for feline leukemia and FIV (negative), spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, defleaed and dewormed, plus you get a free vet exam. Kittys are currently in foster care. TREVI is an adorable little 4-month-old sleek black panther male kitten who is one of the sweetest, calmest kittens you will ever come across. Trevi and his twin brother Lionardo were part of a litter born to someone’s pet unfixed mama kitty, and the mom and her kittens were then surrendered to a CRAN volunteer who has lovingly raised them. Trevi has been tested for feline leukemia and FIV (negative), spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, defleaed and dewormed, plus you get a free vet exam. The brothers are currently in foster care. AGAVE & CHARLOTTE are a brother and sister pair of brown and gray tabby teenager kittens not quite 6 months old. They were born to a feral momma kitty who lived in a Springfield neighborhood, and were taken in to be fostered by a loving local resident. They were very shy at first, and will need a quiet household and time to acclimate to new surroundings. Agave is energetic and curious -- he is very agile, and loves to jump and pounce on his toys and on his sister. He is quite vocal, and will follow you around the house. Charlotte also loves to play, and will thrive with a patient and gentle adopter who will allow her loving personality to blossom (she likes to be held in your arms like a baby). Charlotte is VERY bonded to Agave, and will cry for him when separated, so it would be best if they are adopted together – thus we are offering them at a special sponsored adoption fee of $150 for the pair. Agave has been tested for feline leukemia and FIV (he is negative), neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, defleaed and dewormed, plus you get a free vet exam. Foxy
FOXY is a quiet, polite older kitty about 13 1/2 years old, with a beautiful Russian-Blue type of coat. She lived her entire life with one person, but due to financial setbacks, he lost his home and began to live in his car – so Foxy came to CRAN in the hopes of finding a happy home to live out her golden years. She will ask you about your day with a sweet "meow?" She gets very excited when it's meal time, even though she has a teeny tiny appetite (she does enjoy “grazing” on her kibble all day). Foxy absolutely loves to find a soft, cushy spot to hang out in, preferably with the sun shining on her dense, gorgeous coat. She is pleased to allow her humans to brush her softly, and provide her with plenty of pets. Foxy does NOT like other cats. She is put off by kittens and their "rowdy" behavior. She has never lived with a dog or with young kids. She wants to be the queen kitty of your world, and she is confident that her charming personality will more than make up for her desire to be the only cat in your life. She has tested negative for feline leukemia and FIV, and has been spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, defleaed and dewormed – plus you get a free vet visit. Kitty is currently in foster care. KATHY is a darling, petite little female black and white tuxedo teenager kitty less than a year old, with the most adorable white markings on her funny little face! Kathy and her litter of babies were left behind by her owners in Oakridge when they were evicted from their home. While only a kitten herself when she got pregnant, she turned out to be a wonderful, nurturing mother and her beautiful kittens are weaned now. Although we don't know her background, she was clearly loved by people because she is a very trusting and affectionate kitty. Kathy will likely be shy at first in her new home, but will quickly show her fun and loving personality once she feels safe. She gets along fine with other cats, and will likely be fine with gentle, cat-savvy dogs and children. This sweet mama has given so much love to her babies -- now it is her turn to be loved and treasured by her lucky new forever person or family. Vinka
Vinka is a shy but sweet female senior adult kitty about 11 years old, who is white with a gray mask and patches of gray on her back (sometimes called a “cow kitty”). She is partially blind with a touch of arthritis, but when she is comfortable with her surroundings, she paves a pathway which leads her back to her food, water, litterbox, and her favorite sunny spot. Vinka's human passed away and she was put outside to fend for herself. A nice neighbor fed her, but ultimately she was taken to a vet to be euthanized. Because the vet recognized a sweet girl with a gentle disposition, she was transferred to CRAN. She likes to be brushed and petted, and is definitely a lap cat. She shows her appreciation by licking her foster mom's fingers. She usually comes when called by name -- especially when it is mealtime – and she will answer with one of her cute little meows to let you know where she is. She is on a prescription diet that helps maintain her gastrointestinal health. She has great litterbox habits. Vinka has recovered from being dumped onto the streets, and with a kind and patient adopter who will allow her plenty of time to learn to trust, she will make a very loving companion. Vinka has been tested for feline leukemia and FIV (negative), spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, defleaed and dewormed, plus you get a free vet exam. Kitty is currently in foster care. Miss Honey
Are you up for the challenge of a wonderful, quirky calico cat? Inquisitive, outgoing and gorgeous, MISS HONEY is a striking young calico and tabby girl about 3 years old, who is a unique mixture of friendly and frightened. With people she trusts, she will purr non-stop just because you’re in the same room with her, quietly keep tabs on you while you work nearby, and then will romp after any toy that you offer – she will even play fetch with you! This sweetheart was rescued as a tiny kitten by a family who loved her dearly, but surrendered her to a shelter because of their own declining health. Sadly, the stresses of her environment combined with her sensitive personality brought on health issues for Miss Honey, and when she reached our care, she was suffering from an inflammation of her bladder. Her symptoms are now well managed through a combination of a quiet environment, a calming diet, a pheromone collar, and a patient foster mom. With each passing day, Honey is becoming healthier and more relaxed. This sweet girl will need time to trust new humans, and if you are up for that challenge, you will be rewarded with a unique relationship with a wonderfully personable calico queen kitty. She has been tested for feline leukemia and FIV (she is negative), spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, defleaed and dewormed, plus you get a free vet visit. As a special needs cat, her adoption fee is only $60.00, which allows us to continue to provide care and find loving homes for other abandoned and neglected cats in our Eugene/Springfield community. Miss Honey can be met in foster and would love to make your acquaintance. For information on how to meet this kitty, please call 541-225-4955 option 1 or send an email to adoptinfo@CatRescues.org. BLACK VELVET is a beautiful, fluffy solid black male kitty who is DECLAWED on his front paws. He is 11 years old. He was found as a stray in Springfield, and efforts to locate his owners were unsuccessful. Velvet has been thoroughly checked out by a vet, and he is a healthy boy (including his teeth!). He is a little shy in new situations and it will take him a bit of time to adjust, but once he is comfortable, he is an affectionate and very laid back boy. He loves to be held and petted, is good with cuddling, and will make a wonderful companion. He is very nondominant and REALLY enjoys being with other cats, so he would do best in a home with at least one other friendly cat. Because he is declawed, he must be an indoor-only cat. Velvet has a bit of an itchy skin, so he will need an inexpensive cortisone shot about every 3 or 4 months. Won't you give this sweet and quiet boy a safe and secure forever home? He has been tested for feline leukemia and FIV (he is negative), neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, defleaed and dewormed, plus you get a free vet visit. age is estimateSOPHIE SOPH is a quiet yet playful, short-haired 3-year-old beautiful black female kitty. She loves jumping wildly through the air while playing with her wand toys. She likes being gently petted and snuggling on the bed, but she has boundaries and wants to be in control of the amount of her interactions. It takes her awhile to acclimate to a new situation, but when she does, she will give head-butts, enjoys being kissed on her forehead, and loves gentle chin and ear rubs. When she is content, she likes to lie upside down on the floor with her tummy in the air. She isn't very needy, and is so quiet you have to keep an eye out for her sometimes. However, once she is bonded to you, she doesn't like being separated from her people, and will scratch at a closed door. She isn't a big fan of other cats, and would prefer to be the only cat in the household. She can be a bit unpredictable until she has settled in, and may occasionally give you a whack with her paws, so she would not be good in a home with young kids or a fragile senior. Sophie was a neighborhood stray being cared for by a friendly neighbor, until she was rescued and put into a loving CRAN foster home. This affectionate and friendly girl needs a safe and secure forever home with a patient owner who will allow her the time that she needs to settle in. age is guesstamitMy name is VALENTINO, and I’m a solid black adult male kitty about 12 years old, who was rescued on Valentine’s day in 2017. I was cold, hungry, and very frightened -- and was brought inside half frozen by the kind staff at a local veterinary clinic. The staff warmed my cold body, provided medical care for my aches and pains, and fed me until I wasn't hungry. I am completely recovered, my teeth have been cleaned, and all of my blood work is normal. I now live in a foster home, where I like to watch the world from a safe spot -- I especially like to sit in a quiet cubby and meow at my human caretakers. I am somewhat reserved, and I definitely like to have my own space, but I do appreciate gentle attention from my humans, head scritches, ear massages, and quiet conversation. Do you have a warm place in your heart and your home, to give me a forever home, so that I won't have to be cold, hungry and frightened ever again? VALENTINO has been tested for feline leukemia and FIV (he is negative), neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, defleaed and dewormed, plus you get a free vet visit. She was very shy at first, but she has learned that humans have gentle hands, bring food and toys, and give her gentle pets. She enjoys playtime with feather-on-a-stick and fuzzy toys that she can bat at and "capture." Nora was adopted a few months ago, and just came back to us because her adopter had to suddenly move out of her living situation. This poor kitty is ready for a stable forever home! She will need a quiet household and an adopter who is patient and gentle -- but once she gets to know her new people, they will be rewarded with a sweet and loving lap cuddler who is full of purrs! Nora is curious about new places, but she likes to start out with a safe spot where she can observe her world, then work her way into her new surroundings. Nora might do best as the only cat, although she does seem to do OK with other mellow kitties who don't push her around. She is very shy around new people and environments, but once she trusts you and is comfortable in her new environment, Zuri will purr and cuddle with you, sleep on the bed with you each night, and will happily come to you when you put your hand out or when you shake her food dish. She adores petting from individuals she trusts, and sometimes she will reach out a gentle paw to bat at your hand when you stop petting her, to say “more please!” Zuri loves to bat small kitty toys across the floor, but since she will sometimes put new things with her mouth, it is important that she not be given anything chewable. Zuri gets along with calm, cat-friendly dogs, and would probably be okay with gentle, cat-savvy kids age 12 or older. After a slow introduction, she got along OK with some of the other cats in her foster home, but not with others – so she might be happiest as an only cat. Zuri would do best in a calm home, where she can warm up to her surroundings at her own pace. A veterinarian called our rescue group when Zuri’s owner brought her in to euthanize her because she had been living/hiding in their closet for the two years they had her. With patience and gentleness, Zuri has slowly learned that her home can feel safe and has become more confident in exploring it instead of hiding in a closet. She is now looking for a forever home that can provide her with the love and patience she needs to continue to blossom. ZURI has been tested for feline leukemia and FIV (she is negative), spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, defleaed and dewormed – plus you get a free vet visit. Her adoption fee is $75, which is strictly to help cover our costs. She is currently in foster care. DeeCee
Hi, I'm DeeCee!! Are you looking for an affectionate companion? I might be your girl. I will sit on your lap, and will entertain you by allowing you to shine a laser pointer for me to chase. I used to be shy, but now I'm just a little cautious in new situations. I would love to find a family that would lavish attention on me! I'm a big, beautiful black and white tuxedo kitty about 3 years old, who was carrying a little extra weight around my middle, but with some calorie counting and a little extra playtime, I have shed most of the excess weight. There is still a little more of me to love, or to warm your lap, but don't let that fool you -- I like to romp and play, and explore. I was surrendered by my adopters because their other cat was bullying me, and keeping me cornered and stressed. I have been treated for a urinary tract infection, but I am healthy now and using my box regularly. I will need to stay on a standard urinary tract health diet, and would probably do best as an only cat. DeeCee has been tested for feline leukemia and FIV (she is negative), spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, defleaed and dewormed—plus you get a free vet visit. You can meet this sweet girl at our partner Wags! Dog & Cat Emporium, 485 Coburg Rd #G, Eugene OR 97401. Then submit an adoption application for consideration online at www.CatRescues.org/forms) or paper copy available at the store. Tammy
Special Promotion - Adoption Fee Waived through July 4 TAMMY is a shy and very sweet young female kitty about 3 years old with plush black fur. She was born to a neighborhood stray (and spayed with an ear tip), and went to live in a loving foster home where she learned to trust people. She was adopted as a kitten, but her first owner passed away. Tammy is active and playful, but it takes her a while to acclimate to a new situation or new people. Once you've earned her trust, however, she will purr for hours and enjoys all the chin rubs you can give her. Tammy needs to be the "top banana”, but she might be OK with a nondominant younger kitty. She will thrive in a quiet home without young children. She is a diamond in the rough and with a little TLC, she will be the perfect companion for the right somebody. TAMMY has been tested for feline leukemia and FIV (she is negative), spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, defleaed and dewormed, plus you get a free vet visit. Tammy's adoption fee is just $75 which allows us to continue to provide care and find loving homes for abandoned and neglected cats in our Eugene/Springfield community. For adoption consideration, complete an application at www.CatRescues.org/forms or paper copy available at either Eugene PetSmart store. Once we have your application, a volunteer will call to determine best fit and arrange a possible meet/greet. Tana'i
TANA'I is a beautiful and sweet black and white tuxedo female adult kitty. One veterinarian estimated her age at 3 years old and another at 6 years old but we believe her to be closer to 3. She was found homeless and pregnant and subsequently had her babies after she was rescued. Her kittens grew up and were adopted and Tana'i has been living in a loving foster home learning to trust humans. She loves head pets and chin scritches but is not a "needy" girl -- she would be the perfect kitty companion for someone who works a lot so she can save up her affections. Her favorite toys are a laser light and her stuffed ostrich and she goes completely silly for catnip. She would prefer a quiet home without noisy kids. She does well with other kitties after a proper introduction and might be OK with a respectful dog. She has been tested for feline leukemia and FIV (she is negative), spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, defleaed and dewormed – plus you get a free vet visit. Tana'i is currently in foster care. Her adoption fee is $75 which helps us pay it forward to other neglected and abandoned kitties. To meet her or for more information, call 541-225-4955 option 1 or send an email to www.CatRescues.org. Foster Parents Needed
[PLEASE NOTE THAT THESE ARE ALL PICTURES OF CATS THAT ARE ALREADY IN FOSTER CARE] West Coast fosters give their kitties lots of TLC and attention. Because of that, we have very well socialized cats that are readily adopted. BUT, we have reached capacity with our fosters. We need more fosters to help fulfill our mission of helping rescue special needs animals. Fosters are provided with all the food, bedding and litter the cat needs. We also pay all their medical expenses. Your part is to give them love and attention and how hard can that be? This is the perfect opportunity to have a pet without a life time commitment. Fostering lasts anywhere from one week to several months and YOU get to choose whether you foster bottle babies, kittens or adult cats AND how many. If you live in the Eugene/Springfield, Oregon area and have love to spare for these kitties, please call 541-225-4955. 11/13/18 11:34 PM
