 . Annie .
 . Annie . . Annie . . Annie .
ANNIE is a gray tabby female kitty with beautiful green eyes, about 10 months old. She's very loving and affectionate, and still young enough to be quite playful. Annie loves crinkle toys and feather toys. She comes right away when you click your tongue, and for some reason, she likes feet a lot. Annie and her kittens were surrendered to our cat rescue group and taken into a loving foster home. She doesn't like loud noises, but she loves to be petted, and she'll purr and chirp at you. Like most active young teenager kittens, Annie would do best with someone who is around to give her lots of attention and stimulation. It is unknown how she is with other cats, but she might enjoy the companionship of another mellow, friendly kitty. Annie's a special little spunky girl who's ready for a home of her own. Annie has been tested for feline leukemia and FIV (negative), spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, defleaed and dewormed, and includes a free vet wellness exam. To meet Annie in foster, submit an adoption application for consideration at CatRescues.org/Adopt. A volunteer will contact you within 2-3 days for a possible meet and greet. The $130 adoption fee allows us to continue to help other cats in need. For more information, send an email to AdoptInfo@CatRescues.org or call 541-225-4955 option 1. . Kai .
 . Kai . . Kai . . Kai .
KAI is an affectionate 2-month old all-black kitten. This little guy loves to play, both with humans and his foster sister TENLEY. He gets along well with everyone, including other kittens and dogs. When Kai isn't pouncing on his foster sister or snuggling on a lap, he loves to snack on treats. He's very food driven and would likely be a good candidate for treat training. Kai was found as a tiny stray, abandoned by his mother in a woodpile. We brought him in to our rescue and he's thrived in the care of a loving foster family. Now it's time for Kai to move on to his own forever home. As a young and playful kitten, he must go to a home with another kitten or playful young cat. Since he gets along well with Tenley, they might like to be adopted together. Kai is sure to fill your heart and home with love and fun. Kai has been tested for feline leukemia and FIV (negative), neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, defleaed and dewormed, and includes a free vet wellness exam. To meet Kai in foster, submit an adoption application for consideration at CatRescues.org/Adopt or a paper copy at either Eugene PetSmart location. A volunteer will contact you within 2-3 days for a possible meet and greet. The $150 ($270/2 kittens) adoption fee allows us to continue to help other cats in need. TENLEY is a sweet 2-month old girl with black fur and a white patch under her chin. She is playful like you'd expect for a kitten her age, but also chill and friendly and happy to spend time with people. She enjoys playing chase with her foster brother KAI and loves hanging out with the family dog. She'll snuggle with humans when she's in the mood, but is also happy just to find a quiet place to curl up and nap by herself. Tenley is the perfect combination of affectionate and independent. Tenley was rescued from a colony of stray cats, and we decided to put her in a loving foster home where she's been growing and thriving. As an active and sociable kitten it is critical that Tenley be adopted into a home with another kitten or young, playful cat for companionship. Since she and Kai get along well, it might be nice for them to go home together. Tenley will make a great companion for somebody who likes sweet, quiet kitties who enjoy affection but aren't too needy. Tenley has been tested for feline leukemia and FIV (negative), spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, defleaed and dewormed, and includes a free vet wellness exam. To meet Tenley in foster, submit an adoption application for consideration at CatRescues.org/Adopt or a paper copy at either Eugene PetSmart location. CARLY is a stunning little lady with medium length fur, about 7 months old. She has a golden hue to her tabby coat, a white chin, pink nose, and soft green eyes. Carly is a sweet girl who loves to be petted. She has a great little motor when she's happy and will talk to you when she wants your attention. Carly likes to be held for short periods of time, but then she's ready to play! She loves her mini tennis ball and play fighting with her foster dog. Carly warmed up quickly after a few days with her foster family and is a very well socialized kitten. Her foster currently feeds her gastrointestinal sensitive food and she is doing well on it. Carly was rescued from the Thurston area and taken in by our cat rescue group for care. Carly is a precious girl who will make a wonderful addition to a loving home. Carly has been tested for feline leukemia and FIV (negative), spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, defleaed and dewormed, plus you get a free vet wellness exam. . Rutherford .
 . Rutherford . . Rutherford . . Rutherford .
RUTHERFORD is a handsome 2 to 3-year-old medium-haired brown tabby boy with a splash of honey. He's an affectionate kitty who loves to cuddle. He just adores lying on top of his humans in bed. Some of his favorite things are feathered toys, tunnels, catnip, and treats (although sparingly. because he is on a diet!). He startles easily at loud noises and fast movement, but once he trusts you (and you are tuned into his body language), he's a great cuddle buddy. Rutherford was left behind when his former family moved away, and other than a chronic, low-key sinus condition (that is easily managed with medication), he is in excellent health. This sweet snuggle bug just needs a quiet and loving forever home with a cat-savvy adopter. Rutherford has been tested for feline leukemia and FIV (negative), spayed/neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, defleaed and dewormed, and includes a free vet wellness exam. To meet Rutherford in foster, submit an adoption application for consideration at CatRescues.org/Adopt. A volunteer will contact you within 2-3 days for a possible meet and greet. . Mr. Milo .
 . Mr. Milo . . Mr. Milo . . Mr. Milo .
MR. MILO is a handsome short-haired orange tabby boy, estimated to be about 6 years old. Mr. Milo is a sweet boy who needs time to warm up to new people and adjusts to new surroundings. He likes to attach himself to one special person when he has been given time to trust them. Milo enjoys watching TV with his special person, and likes to lie down at their feet and get his chin scratched. He enjoys chasing balls and the feather boa stick, scratching on his cardboard scratcher, and checking out what is happening outside. Mr. Milo was living outdoors at a transitional housing facility. His primary caretaker became concerned that he wasn't receiving consistent care, and that with his mobility issues, he needed to be housed in a more confined environment where he would be safe. Milo has a condition which causes him to walk in an unusual manner, almost a rolling gait. He doesn't have full motor control and cannot jump, but has mastered climbing stairs. His back legs will sometimes give out on him, and his front legs shake. Because of his not being able to easily defend himself, he is frightened of other cats and dogs. He needs a home with no other cats, or a very submissive cat. He must live in a secure environment, where he won't be chased by dogs or small children. Mr. Milo is looking for a forever home with a patient, cat-savvy adopter who recognizes him for the special cat he is, and doesn't expect him to be a 'typical' cat. Mr. Milo has been tested for feline leukemia and FIV (negative), neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, defleaed and dewormed, and includes a free vet wellness exam. To meet Mr. Milo in foster, submit an adoption application for consideration at CatRescues.org/Adopt. A volunteer will contact you within 2-3 days for a possible meet and greet. . Puzzle . . Puzzle . . Puzzle .
PUZZLE is a loving 5-year-old tabby boy looking for the perfect forever home. He has a handsome gray-and-dark-brown striped coat and beautiful light yellow-green eyes. Puzzle's favorite place to hang out is on the couch near his human friends where he can relax and enjoy pets and tummy scratches. When he isn't chilling on the couch, Puzzle likes to sit on the windowsill and watch the birds outside. Puzzle was rescued from a colony of stray cats, and after discovering that he was friendly, we decided to put him in a loving foster home. Puzzle has tested positive for feline leukemia and FIV (the felineimmunodeficiency virus), which can't be passed to dogs or people. Feline leukemia kitties typically lead a healthy life until they reach the end of their disease. His lifespan will likely be shorter than that of a normal cat, but Puzzle is currently in excellent health, and is sure to bring joy into the lives of his lucky new forever person or family for his remaining years. (The FIV virus should not affect his lifespan.) He must be an indoor-only cat, and he needs to be your one and only kitty. Puzzle is asweet and special cat who would make a wonderful and loving companion for the right person or family. Puzzle has been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, defleaed & dewormed, and has had a complete dental. His adoption includes a free vet wellness exam. DIMON is an affectionate male black panther with a cute kinked tail, about 11 months old. He can be a bit shy when meeting new people, but once he warms up to you, he is extremely sweet. He loves to have his face scratched and will purr, make biscuits, and rub his face against you when he sits on your lap. You can win Dimon over by sitting on the floor with him and offering him treats and pets. Dimon and his brother were rescued from the streets in rough shape and taken in to our cat rescue group for care and fostering. Dimon had an eye infection in his right eye that was treated but the eye remained a bit cloudy after it healed. He can still see just fine with that eye and it doesn't affect him at all! Dimon needs to be housed in a low-stress environment as he has an underlying mouth condition that requires regular medication. Dimon is a sweet boy who will reward your patience with love and devotion. Because of his special needs, Dimon is being offered a special adoption fee $70. Dimon has been tested for feline leukemia and FIV (negative), neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, defleaed and dewormed, and includes a free vet wellness exam. MUSTACHIO is a handsome 6-year-old long-haired boy who sports a gray and white tuxedo coat and a dashing white mustache. Mustachio is a large, friendly fellow who, after a rocky start in life, has learned that humans can be trusted and that pets and cuddles are a very nice thing. Mustachio was an outdoor colony kitty being well looked after by a caretaker who had to move, so our cat rescue group took him in and worked with him to show him how wonderful an indoor life could be. Day by day, Mustachio has gained confidence. He went from hiding in the back of his condo to allowing and enjoying pets. Now he confidently rubs against you, sweetly demanding attention and affection. He does fine in the company of other cats, but since loud noises and quick motions easily startle him, he would do best in a home with no young children. Since he is prone to bladder crystals, he will need to be kept on a special diet. Mustachio will thrive in a home where he can enjoy the cuddles and companionship of a loving family. Mustachio has been tested for feline leukemia and FIV (negative), neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, defleaed and dewormed, and includes a free vet wellness exam. To meet Mustachio in foster, submit an adoption application for consideration at CatRescues.org/Adopt or a paper copy at either Eugene PetSmart location. . The Cow . . The Cow . . The Cow .
THE COW (nicknamed Cowboy) is a sweet and quirky white kitty with a black spot on his head and a black tail, about 6 years old. He has one blue eye and one green eye. Previously, he underwent a successful surgery to remove skin cancer around his ears, which is why his ears have such a unique shape. The Cow is a people person and is sure to be your best friend. Like everyone, it takes him a little bit to warm up to new people but once he does, he will never leave their side. He likes to pretend that he is very independent, but if you leave the room he can't help but follow you. The Cow loves sitting on laps, cuddling in bed, and getting his head scratched. While he definitely loves downtime, don't be surprised if he gets up and starts "hunting" his favorite toy, a leopard print ball, around the house. The Cow can also be found using his scratching board or looking out the window in deep thought. To say that he likes food is an understatement, he is the Gordon Ramsay of cats. He will do just about anything for treats and catnip, loves to try new food, and enjoys checking out what you are eating. The Cow's first owner became homeless and surrendered him in order to give him the chance at a better and safer life in a new forever home. The Cow has tested positive for FIV (the Feline Immunodeficiency Virus), but he is a healthy boy with no apparent health problems and will likely have a normal lifespan as an indoor-only cat. The virus can't be passed to dogs or to people, and only to other cats through a deep bite wound. He would do amazing in a quiet home with older kids or adults. He gets a little jealous when other kitties get more attention so he would like to be your only pet. This ideal cuddle buddy is sure to go fast and has lots of love to give. Could you be his forever home? The Cow has been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, defleaed & dewormed, is negative for FeLV, and has had a complete dental. His adoption fee includes a free vet wellness exam. To meet The Cow in foster, submit an adoption application for consideration at CatRescues.org/Adopt. . Stryker .
 . Stryker . . Stryker . . Stryker .
STRYKER is *strykingly* handsome tabby cat with soft green eyes, a white chin, and roguishly charming ear tip. He is estimated to be around 2 years old. Stryker is a curious and attention-loving boy! He likes to be around people, even when it is just sitting next to you while watching TV (he enjoys watching too!). He loves his food and when he wants a bit more love, you'll hear a cute squeak from him. Since he loves all the attention, he can be a little chatty when you leave him behind a closed door (though he gets used to it). When you are around, he will want to rub his head against you and roll around quite like a dog would. He enjoys playing with basic cat toys, but in general, he isn't the most playful cat. Stryker is quick to warm up to new humans, and was excited to meet his foster mom the second he came out of the crate. It took him about a day or so to adjust to his new environment there. He is friendly when meeting new people when they come to her home. Stryker was rescued from a colony and was so friendly, the rescuers brought him to our cat rescue group to find a loving forever home. Stryker has tested positive for FIV (the feline immunodeficiency virus), but he is a healthy kitty and will likely have a normal lifespan as an indoor-only cat. The virus can't be passed to dogs or to people, and only to other cats through a deep bite wound. Stryker is a fun and affectionate fellow with a lot of love to give. His energy and presence have the ability to brighten anyone's day! Stryker has been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, defleaed & dewormed, is negative for FeLV, and includes a free vet wellness exam. FLOPSY is a handsome 9-year-old gray and white tuxedo male with a cute white mustache. This extra large guy is a very chill kitty who loves to lounge around next to his favorite person or people. While he isn't fond of laps, Flopsy does enjoy sprawling next to you as you work or relax on the couch. He's a healthy, hearty boy, although his vet recommends that he get plenty of play and exercise to shed a little excess weight. He has tested positive for FIV (the feline immunodeficiency virus), but he will likely have a normal lifespan as an indoor-only cat. The virus can't be passed to dogs or to people, and only to other cats through a deep bite wound. Flopsy came to our cat rescue group when his owners moved away and were unable to take him with them. He would be happiest (and safest) as the only cat in the household. He's been in the care of a loving foster person, but is now ready to have his own forever family. If you're looking for a mellow companion to share your home and heart with, Flopsy could be the one for you. MR. PEABODY (affectionately known as MR. P) is a friendly fellow with a wonderfully soft black and white tuxedo coat, estimated to be about 11 years old. He has the spirit of a kitten and loves to play and engage with people. Mr. P is a conversational cat who will greet you at the door to tell you about his day. Even though he isn't a big fan of being held or sitting on laps, he's happy to follow you around, enjoying occasional pets and head scratches. He adores being brushed. Mr. P has hyperthyroidism, a lifelong medical condition that is managed with daily medication. As long as his pills are wrapped up in a treat, Mr. P takes them easily and enthusiastically. Mr. P has tested positive for FIV (the feline immunodeficiency virus), but he is a healthy kitty and will likely have a normal lifespan as an indoor-only cat. The virus can't be passed to dogs or to people, and only to other cats through a deep bite wound. He's extremely gentle and has almost no teeth left so the risk of a bite wound, the primary way FIV would be transmitted is almost none. He is great with other mellow, friendly kitties and can also be adopted with another FIV+ cat. He was brought to a local vet when his owner could no longer take care of him, and went to live in a loving foster home. Mr. P is now ready to be loved and spoiled in his own stable, forever home. Could it be with you? Mr. P is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, has been defleaed and dewormed, is negative for FeLV, and has had a complete dental (he is in excellent health).. CLIFF and ANGELITO are two 1-year-old bonded brothers, looking for their forever home. CLIFF has a cleft lip on the left side of his mouth that is the cutest thing you'll ever see, however it does not impact his ability to eat or affect him in any way. ANGELITO is an affecionate boy with one long white whisker who is most famous for his non-stop purring. He loves to fall asleep on anyone's lap. Both boys roll and tumble around the house, and will play with anyone or anything in front of them. They especially love chasing the laser light and leaping into the air to catch cat nips. They love lounging on cat trees cuddled up next to each other watching birds go by. In their loving foster home they have been living happily with cat-savvy dogs, and should be okay with other mellow cats with a slow introduction, but it is preferred that Cliff and Angelito be adopted together as the only cats. Because they were raised together as bottle babies and have each other for so long, we are requiring that Cliff and Angelito be adopted together. The adoption fee for the pair is $110 (see special note regarding their medical issue). They have been tested for feline leukemia and FIV (negative), neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, defleaed and dewormed, and include a free vet wellness exam. ZOE is a cute and petite black and white tuxedo female kitty about 14 1/2 years old. She was brought into a local vet and surrendered as a frightened and upset kitty - she may have been abused in her past. With loving care in her foster home, she is now very outgoing and affectionate. She adores being petted and loves all the attention she can get. She is quite scared of dogs and does not get along with other cats, so she needs to be the only pet. Zoe is on a prescription diet, but otherwise has no medical issues. This sweet girl just needs a quiet home and a kind-hearted adopter who will give her the chance at a new life - and be rewarded with a devoted and loving companion. Zoe has been tested for feline leukemia and FIV (negative), spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, defleaed and dewormed, and includes a free vet wellness exam.
