Yves
YVES is a sweet and adorable little long-haired black and gray tabby male kitten about 4 ½ months old. He and his brother Zach were rescued from a rural farm, and went to live in a loving foster home. Yves had a prominent sternum bone and also a limp, so CRAN immediately sought medical attention, where it was confirmed that he had a broken rear left leg. A specialist repaired the fracture, and Yves has healed beautifully (see picture). The vet feels there is no concern over his breastbone, and he is developing and growing normally!! Yves just adores his brother, and as he has gained strength, he has learned to rough and tumble. He and Zach wrestle and chase mice, and they sound like bowling balls as they race through the house. After they are finally worn out, they love to snuggle up next to you, purring wildly and making biscuits. Yves and Zach are very bonded, and must be adopted together, so their foster mom is sponsoring part of their fee and they are being offered at a special price of $195. Burberry
BURBERRY is a darling, fluffy little black and white tuxedo male kitten about 4 months old. He was rescued as a single kitten from a rural area, and went to live in a loving foster home with other young kittens and older cats. He has thrived in this environment, and is able to exhibit his playful side when his playmates are around. Burberry will chase his buddies up the cat tree, wrestle with them, and bat at their tails. When he finally tires himself out, he enjoys snuggling up with his kitty friends or in his cat bed. He has a motorboat purr, and enjoys a soft pet – especially under his chin. He can be very shy and cautious at first with new people, so his adopter needs to be understanding and very gentle while he acclimates. When he feels safe and trusting, he will snuggle up next to you and purr the night away. Burberry is a special kitty, and it is very important that there be another kitten or young playful cat buddy in his new household. Burberry has been tested for feline leukemia and FIV (negative), neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, defleaed and dewormed, plus you get a free vet exam. Zach
ZACH is a beautiful and friendly little medium-haired solid black male kitten about 4 ½ months old. He and his brother Yves were rescued from a rural farm, and went to live in a loving foster home. Zach and Yves both suffered from broken legs – their bones were very fragile as tiny kittens. Zach saw a specialist to repair the fracture in his left front arm, and after several weeks of rest, he healed up beautifully. He has developed normally and gained lots of strength, and is a healthy boy now! He is a loving kitten who adores attention. He will seek you out for a pet and loves to snuggle next you, purr, and make biscuits. Zach and Yves enjoy wrestling, chasing mice toys, and bouncing all around the house, jumping up into their cat trees. Zach and Yves are extremely bonded, and must be adopted together, so their foster mom is sponsoring part of their fee and they are being offered at a special price of $195. Zach has been tested for feline leukemia and FIV (negative), neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, defleaed and dewormed, plus you get a free vet exam. . Stranger .
Stranger
STRANGER is an extra large male black and tan tabby kitty who is around 10 ½ years old. His long whiskers make him look rather like a distinguished gentleman with a handlebar moustache. This poor fellow was abandoned at his foster mom's doorstep and in the beginning he was very scared – but he has blossomed into a very loving kitty. Stranger likes to be wherever you are, and will put his paw on your arm so you know he’s close by and ready for attention. The only thing he loves more than wet food are his people! Stranger has tested positive for FIV (the feline immunodeficiency virus), which means that he must be an indoor-only kitty for his lifetime, but with some precautions to protect his immune system, he will likely lead a normal life. The virus can't be passed to dogs or to people, and only to other cats through a deep bite wound. Beyond this, Stranger is in good health, and has had a complete dental performed. Stranger has been tested for feline leukemia (negative), neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, defleaed and dewormed, plus you get a free vet exam. He is currently in foster care. Anthony (Tony)
ANTHONY (“TONY” for short) is a sweet and bouncy young male kitten about 5 months old, who is white with a gray tabby cap, cape, and tail. He and his siblings were found as stray kittens in a mobile home park, and placed in a loving foster home. Tony is a super friendly and lovable little guy, who loves to play, play, play! However, he’s not very brave – a big and dominant older cat easily scares him. He has had to stay in foster care for an extra period of time while being treated for a harmless skin fungus, but he is totally recovered now. Like most energetic and sociable young kittens, it is critical that Tony be adopted into a household with another kitten or playful young cat. [Tony has a shy sister Tia who is also available for adoption – ask for details] Are you ready to give this affectionate teenager the stable forever home he so deserves? Anthony has been tested for feline leukemia and FIV (negative), neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, defleaed and dewormed, plus you get a free vet exam. Martina
MARTINA & TRISHA are a bonded pair of beautiful teenager sister kittens about 8 mos old. They were part of a large group of cats living with their owner in a small camper, and they came to live as young kittens in a loving CRAN foster home. Martina is a lovely, sleek black panther girl, who is polydactyl (she has lots of extra toes). She is the shyer of the 2 sisters, and will hesitate before meeting a new person. She might hide for a bit while she assesses her situation, but once you make friends with her, you have a friend for life. Both Martina and Trisha enjoy capturing (and shredding) catnip mice, playing whack-the-wiffle-ball, chasing the red dot, and capturing any toy on a stick. Both girls love to go, go, go and play, play, play, before they make time to cuddle with their human. Martina and Trisha are extremely bonded, and must go home together as pair. They will do best in a quiet household without active young kids, as they can be startled by loud noises and fast movements. Martina and Trisha have been tested for feline leukemia and FIV (negative), spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, defleaed and dewormed, plus you get a free vet exam. TRISHA & MARTINA are a bonded pair of beautiful teenager sister kittens about 8 mos old. They were part of a large group of cats and kittens living with their owner in a small camper, and they came to live as young kittens in a loving CRAN foster home. Trisha, a pretty chocolate-point Siamese mix, is an outgoing girl with a bit of homecoming queen in her personality. She is the bossy sister who is the leader during their various activities. Both girls enjoy capturing (and shredding) catnip mice, playing whack-the-wiffle-ball, chasing the red dot, and capturing any toy on a stick. They love to go, go, go and play, play, play, before they make time to cuddle with their human. Trisha has a slight curving-in of her breastbone known as pectus excavatum, but our vet says this should not present any complications to her health. Trisha & Martina are extremely bonded, and must go home together as pair. They will do best in a quiet household without active young kids, as they can be startled by loud noises and fast movements. RUDY is a fluffy white male kitty with some cute brown tabby patches. This large and handsome gentleman appeared in his foster mom’s neighborhood with no one to claim him. He’s now had all of his vet work completed, and he’s ready to find his own forever family. He does NOT care for other cats, but he truly adores humans. He waltzes around with his big fluffy tail in the air, and wants you to pet him 24/7! Rudy loves wet food, and it's a great way to win him over. He has tested positive for FIV (the feline immunodeficiency virus), which means that he must be an indoor-only kitty for his lifetime, but with some precautions to protect his immune system, he will likely lead a normal life. The virus can't be passed to dogs or to people, and only to other cats through a deep bite wound (he should be an only cat). This outgoing and adorable guy is just waiting to find you! Ariel
ARIEL is an adorable, fluffy little female solid gray teenager kitten about 6 months old with beautiful blue eyes. She and her two sisters were found as kittens in a feral colony and relinquished to a volunteer with our rescue group who has fostered them in his business office. The kittens are getting friendlier with each passing day and enjoy following their foster dad around the office. Ariel is still quite shy, though her foster dad picks her up and holds her and she enjoys being petted. She's still shy with strangers and we are requiring her to be adopted into a fairly quiet household with another kitten or playful young cat, such as her sister Anna (ID# 1810-C0477 who can be visited at PetSmart, 2858 Willamette St 97405) – or possibly her gray sister Fiona (ID# 1810-C0479 in foster) who is the shyest of the three kittens. Once bonded to their owners, shy kitties often make the most loyal companions. Ariel has been tested for feline leukemia and FIV (negative), spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, defleaed and dewormed, plus you get a free vet exam. Ariel is currently in foster care. They had to remain in foster care for quite a while being treated for a harmless skin fungus (they are completely clear now). The most curious and adventurous of the bunch, Katrine is the first to investigate new visitors and new toys. She has a sweet purr and loves to be petted and snuggled, before she finally jumps down to chase her friends. Like most active and sociable young kitties, it is important that she be in a home with another playful young kitty. She had to remain in foster care for quite a while being treated for a harmless skin fungus (she is completely clear now). Flicka is a bit chunky, and her food intake will need to be carefully monitored or she will empty all the wet food bowls she can find. She loves to be petted and to cuddle in your lap, but she’s not great with being picked up. Flicka is not as playful as her step-siblings, and while she would do fine with another mellow kitty, she would also likely be OK as an only kitty. CHANCEUX (pronounced “Shan-so” or Chance for short) is a handsome young male black panther teenager about 8 months old with a white blaze at his throat and white on his belly. He and his siblings were found abandoned as kittens in Springfield and placed with a loving foster home. Chance is very timid at first in new surroundings and once he knows and trusts you, he wants to be petted and loved. He is a playful boy who enjoys chasing the laser light and wand toys. He likes other cats as long as they aren’t too rambunctious. He would be happiest in a quiet household with a mellow feline friend and might also enjoy being an only kitty as long as he gets plenty of attention. Chance startles easily and with the right home and a patient adopter will blossom into a devoted lifelong companion. Chanceux has been tested for feline leukemia and FIV (negative), neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, defleaed and dewormed, plus you get a free vet exam. Chance is temporarily in foster care. Noah
Noah is an adorable cat with a beautiful sleek, thick jet black coat and is between one and 2 years old. Noah is very affectionate and loves to be pet, get in your lap, knead, and give head bumps. He has the cutest little meow and when he is really excited to see you will talk to you. Noah loves to play. Fluffy mice are his favorite. He also loves to play with a feather or niko fly on a string. Noah loves catnip and it is so fun to watch his antics with it. Noah is a super sweet and gentle boy. He would most likely be fine with another friendly cat with a slow introduction and would probably appreciate a playmate. So what is the catch you ask? Well, you will need to give Noah time, patience and love before you will see the real Noah. Noah lived his first year around people at an apartment complex but had no home or physical interaction with them so he is fearful of new people and it takes time to earn his trust. He joined a feral colony after leaving the apartments and though he was picked on by the other cats he was always very sweet to them. He also would approach the caregivers but was afraid if they tried to pet him. Noah was trapped and his trapper had a strong sense he would want to be a pet so she worked with him. It took about 4 weeks for him to show without a doubt he loved being a pampered pet. It took another 4 weeks for him to be completely comfortable and to start playing, staying out in his room, lying in the window and meowing at the door for his foster mom. Noah will need a quiet home with a cat savvy person and to start in a room of his own while his new person gains his trust. Be prepared to give him about 2 months but it may not take this long because he seems to be gaining trust with his foster dad in shorter time. There is nothing as wonderful as gaining the trust of these shy cats. Noah will reward you with an amazingly strong bond. He will appreciate everything he has. He is so happy to be safe, loved and in a warm house. He will be a wonderful and loving companion if just given some time to get comfortable. Take a look at his video. Could you be the special person to give this special boy his forever home? Noah has been neutered, is up to date on vaccinations, is microchipped, has tested negative for FELV/FIV, and has been deflead and dewormed. Noah’s adoption fee is $60 and that money is used to save more cats in our community. Noah is currently in foster care. If you are interested in meeting him, please submit an adoption application for consideration either online (www.CatRescues.org/forms) or for more information, send an email to adoptinfo@CatRescues.org or call 541-225-4955 option 1.

DOLLY is a beautiful black female teenager kitten about 8 months old with striking highlights in her fluffy fur and a magnificent mane. She is a sweetie pie of a kitty who loves to be picked up and assured of your love with a short snuggle, then go about her business of being playful and curious. Dolly is a very patient girl: she will wait for you to notice her and pet her and patiently wait for her meal to be presented. When it is play time, however, all patience is set aside as she excitedly whacks the ball and runs to catch it. She enjoys being combed and will squeak in protest if you hit a tangle -- so in the interest of keeping Dolly happy, she would like to be brushed every day! Dolly was part of a large group of cats and kittens living with their owner in a small camper. Like most sociable and active young kitties, she would enjoy the companionship of another gentle kitten or cat, or possibly a very mellow dog. Dolly has been tested for feline leukemia and FIV (negative), spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, defleaed and dewormed, plus you get a free vet exam. Mr. Peaches is a super friendly, soft furred orange and white male cat who is approximately 4 years old. His ear tip let us know that he was once a part of trap/neuter/return program. When he was found and brought to a vet with an abscess wound, rescuers discovered that he was a sweetheart, so he went to a foster home to recover. Mr. Peaches is very affectionate! He loves to play and goes crazy for catnip! While he is always a gentleman, he will give you a gentle tap with his paw if he's feeling overstimulated. At mealtimes Mr. Peaches has a tendency to wind his body around your feet (he loves food!), therefore, he would be best suited to a home with someone who is not at risk of falling. His ideal home would be a quiet one where he has time to acclimate to new surroundings and have someone to snuggle up to at bed time. He has tested positive for FIV (the feline immunodeficiency virus), which means that he must be an indoor-only kitty for his lifetime, but with some precautions to protect his immune system, he will likely lead a normal life. The virus can't be passed to dogs or to people, and only to other cats through a deep bite wound (while he would be safest as an only cat, he does get along fine with other mellow cats). Mr. Peaches has been tested for feline leukemia (negative), neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, defleaed and dewormed, plus you get a free vet exam. Kitty is currently in foster care. For adoption consideration, complete an application at www.CatRescues.org/forms or paper copy available at either Eugene PetSmart store. Sweetie Pie
Sweetie Pie is a gorgeous and fluffy gray tabby female teenager who looks to be a Maine Coon Mix. She's just over a year old and has been living in a loving foster home after being rescued as a feral kitten. She is shy with any humans that she doesn’t know, but is great with her furry playmates. She will play with the other cats and kittens in the house, and can be found curled up next to them or even the resident Dachshund. There are also two big dogs in the home that she is fine with unless they become hyperactive. Sweetie really enjoys her quiet place on the window sill away from all the noise and activity. She loves her treats and will take them gently right out of your hand. Even though she is shy, she yearns for full attention from her foster family. She also enjoys playing with string toys, preferably without all the kittens. She would do best with one or two other cats and/or a respectful smaller dog. She's a very calm kitty and a gentle soul who likes her personal space, without ever using her claws. She won't curl up in your lap, but we are confident that in a calm household and with some patience, she will make a wonderful addition for an understanding adopter. Sweetie Pie has been tested for feline leukemia and FIV (negative), spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, defleaed and dewormed, plus you get a free vet exam. Kitty is currently in foster care. Pepper
Pepper is a super sweet tuxedo kitty who is around 12 years old. His foster and rescuer describes him as the most loving boy ever. This lovebug is a quiet cat and expert nap taker. He loves attention and loves to give head bumps. Pepper was abandoned by his previous owners. He had a microchip but when they were called they didn’t want him back. He was on his own for awhile and has some health issues as a result. He had a lump on his jaw but after a dental cleaning and teeth extractions it has decreased in size. He is in the early stages of kidney disease and his adopter will need to work with a vet as it progresses. Pepper is also FIV+ and can live a normal life with good medical care. It can only be passed to other cats through a deep bite wound. Pepper does well with other mellow cats. Pepper is so ready to find a home where someone understands his needs and will treasure the time he has left to give them all the head bumps he can. He would so love to find a safe and quiet place to live out his days. All he asks for is food, snuggles and a lap to sleep on. Pepper was previously neutered, is up to date on vaccinations, has had a recent dental cleaning/extractions, is microchipped, has been treated for fleas and dewormed and tested for FELV (-) /FIV (+) and he comes with a free vet visit. Pepper's adoption fee is $60 and helps Cat Rescue and Adoption Network help more homeless cats. He is currently in foster care. BOOTS is a gorgeous long-haired, male tuxedo cat about 12 years old with the most adorable white mustache and spot on his nose. He is DECLAWED on his front paws and so needs to be an indoor-only fellow (which he has been his whole life). He is a gentle and well-behaved guy with a soft purr until he has something to say and can then be quite a talker. His lifelong owner transitioned to a nursing home and Boots was left behind. His sadness at the sudden loss of all he knew took him several weeks to acclimate to his new foster home. Boots likes to follow you around and be right next to you to supervise but doesn’t care to be touched too much. He is a good eater when he knows you are near. He's a funny guy with bursts of energy, running around like a spry young cat for 10-15 minutes. He can become very anxious when being picked up. Learning to respect his boundaries with patience and kindness will reward you with his trust and love. He’s good at communicating and will sleep by your feet. His favorite toy is a peacock feather - but just the pointy end! Boots needs to be an only cat and in a home without young kids. He will make a wonderful kitty for a quiet person or couple looking for a delightful and loving companion. As he becomes more comfortable in his new home, his behavior becomes more trusting. He has been tested for feline leukemia and FIV (he is negative), neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, defleaed and dewormed, plus you get a free wellness exam. Boots' adoption fee is $60. FOXY is a quiet, polite older kitty about 13 1/2 years old, with a beautiful Russian-Blue type of coat. She lived her entire life with one person, but due to financial setbacks, he lost his home and began to live in his car – so Foxy came to CRAN in the hopes of finding a happy home to live out her golden years. She will ask you about your day with a sweet "meow?" She gets very excited when it's meal time, even though she has a teeny tiny appetite (she does enjoy “grazing” on her kibble all day). Foxy absolutely loves to find a soft, cushy spot to hang out in, preferably with the sun shining on her dense, gorgeous coat. She is pleased to allow her humans to brush her softly, and provide her with plenty of pets. Foxy does NOT like other cats. She is put off by kittens and their "rowdy" behavior. She has never lived with a dog or with young kids. She wants to be the queen kitty of your world, and she is confident that her charming personality will more than make up for her desire to be the only cat in your life. She has tested negative for feline leukemia and FIV, and has been spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, defleaed and dewormed – plus you get a free vet visit. Kitty is currently in foster care. KATHY is a darling, petite little female black and white tuxedo teenager kitty less than a year old, with the most adorable white markings on her funny little face! Kathy and her litter of babies were left behind by her owners in Oakridge when they were evicted from their home. While only a kitten herself when she got pregnant, she turned out to be a wonderful, nurturing mother and her beautiful kittens are weaned now. Although we don't know her background, she was clearly loved by people because she is a very trusting and affectionate kitty. Kathy will likely be shy at first in her new home, but will quickly show her fun and loving personality once she feels safe. She gets along fine with other cats, and will likely be fine with gentle, cat-savvy dogs and children. Vinka
Vinka is a shy but sweet female senior adult kitty about 11 years old, who is white with a gray mask and patches of gray on her back (sometimes called a “cow kitty”). She is partially blind with a touch of arthritis, but when she is comfortable with her surroundings, she paves a pathway which leads her back to her food, water, litterbox, and her favorite sunny spot. Vinka's human passed away and she was put outside to fend for herself. A nice neighbor fed her, but ultimately she was taken to a vet to be euthanized. Because the vet recognized a sweet girl with a gentle disposition, she was transferred to CRAN. She likes to be brushed and petted, and is definitely a lap cat. She shows her appreciation by licking her foster mom's fingers. She usually comes when called by name -- especially when it is mealtime – and she will answer with one of her cute little meows to let you know where she is. She is on a prescription diet that helps maintain her gastrointestinal health. She has great litterbox habits. Vinka has recovered from being dumped onto the streets, and with a kind and patient adopter who will allow her plenty of time to learn to trust, she will make a very loving companion. Vinka has been tested for feline leukemia and FIV (negative), spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, defleaed and dewormed, plus you get a free vet exam. Kitty is currently in foster care. Miss Honey
Are you up for the challenge of a wonderful, quirky calico cat? Inquisitive, outgoing and gorgeous, MISS HONEY is a striking young calico and tabby girl about 3 years old, who is a unique mixture of friendly and frightened. With people she trusts, she will purr non-stop just because you’re in the same room with her, quietly keep tabs on you while you work nearby, and then will romp after any toy that you offer – she will even play fetch with you! This sweetheart was rescued as a tiny kitten by a family who loved her dearly, but surrendered her to a shelter because of their own declining health. Sadly, the stresses of her environment combined with her sensitive personality brought on health issues for Miss Honey, and when she reached our care, she was suffering from an inflammation of her bladder. Her symptoms are now well managed through a combination of a quiet environment, a calming diet, a pheromone collar, and a patient foster mom. With each passing day, Honey is becoming healthier and more relaxed. This sweet girl will need time to trust new humans, and if you are up for that challenge, you will be rewarded with a unique relationship with a wonderfully personable calico queen kitty. She has been tested for feline leukemia and FIV (she is negative), spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, defleaed and dewormed, plus you get a free vet visit. As a special needs cat, her adoption fee is only $60.00, which allows us to continue to provide care and find loving homes for other abandoned and neglected cats in our Eugene/Springfield community. BLACK VELVET is a beautiful, fluffy solid black male kitty who is DECLAWED on his front paws. He is 11 years old. He was found as a stray in Springfield, and efforts to locate his owners were unsuccessful. Velvet has been thoroughly checked out by a vet, and he is a healthy boy (including his teeth!). He is a little shy in new situations and it will take him a bit of time to adjust, but once he is comfortable, he is an affectionate and very laid back boy. He loves to be held and petted, is good with cuddling, and will make a wonderful companion. He is very nondominant and REALLY enjoys being with other cats, so he would do best in a home with at least one other friendly cat. Because he is declawed, he must be an indoor-only cat. Velvet has a bit of an itchy skin, so he will need an inexpensive cortisone shot about every 3 or 4 months. Won't you give this sweet and quiet boy a safe and secure forever home? She loves jumping wildly through the air while playing with her wand toys. She likes being gently petted and snuggling on the bed, as long as you respect her boundaries. It takes her awhile to acclimate to a new situation, but when she does, she will give head-butts, enjoys being kissed on her forehead, and loves gentle chin and ear rubs. She enjoys lying upside down on the floor with her tummy in the air. She is a quiet and independent girl, but once she has bonded to you, she wants to be close to her people. She isn't a big fan of other cats, and would prefer to be the only cat in the household. She can be a bit unpredictable until she has settled in, and may occasionally give you a whack with her paws--so she would not be good in a home with young kids or a fragile senior. age is guesstamitMy name is VALENTINO, and I’m a solid black adult male kitty about 12 years old, who was rescued on Valentine’s day in 2017. I was cold, hungry, and very frightened -- and was brought inside half frozen by the kind staff at a local veterinary clinic. The staff warmed my cold body, provided medical care for my aches and pains, and fed me until I wasn't hungry. I am completely recovered, my teeth have been cleaned, and all of my blood work is normal. I now live in a foster home, where I like to watch the world from a safe spot -- I especially like to sit in a quiet cubby and meow at my human caretakers. I am somewhat reserved, and I definitely like to have my own space, but I do appreciate gentle attention from my humans, head scritches, ear massages, and quiet conversation. Do you have a warm place in your heart and your home, to give me a forever home, so that I won't have to be cold, hungry and frightened ever again? VALENTINO has been tested for feline leukemia and FIV (he is negative), neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, defleaed and dewormed, plus you get a free vet visit. She enjoys playtime with feather-on-a-stick and fuzzy toys that she can bat at and "capture." Nora was finally adopted, but she had to be returned to us when her new owner lost her home. This poor kitty is ready for a stable forever home! Habibi
Meet Queen Habibi (aka “BIBI”), a big, beautiful black, gold, and white 4-year-old female kitty with soft fluffy fur, and the coloring of both a tortoiseshell and a calico. This beautiful girl was relinquished to a local shelter because she sometimes coughs and wheezes due to seasonal asthma. To keep her airways open, Bibi currently receives 1/2 tablet daily of an inexpensive medication, which she readily accepts. She has lived with friendly cats in the past, but her reserved personality indicates that she might do best as an only cat. She would be happiest in a calm household with patient, gentle adults, and possibly older kids. This gorgeous, wonderful girl will bestow you with ankle rubs and lots of love. Are you ready to welcome royalty into your home? Habibi has been tested for feline leukemia and FIV (she is negative), spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, defleaed and dewormed, plus you get a free vet exam. Bibi is currently in foster care, For adoption consideration, complete an application at www.CatRescues.org/forms or paper copy available at either Eugene PetSmart store. Once we have your application, a volunteer will call to determine best fit and arrange a possible meet/greet. DeeCee
Hi, I'm DeeCee!! Are you looking for an affectionate companion? I might be your girl. I will sit on your lap, and will entertain you by allowing you to shine a laser pointer for me to chase. I used to be shy, but now I'm just a little cautious in new situations. I would love to find a family that would lavish attention on me! I'm a big, beautiful black and white tuxedo kitty about 3 years old, who was carrying a little extra weight around my middle, but with some calorie counting and a little extra playtime, I have shed most of the excess weight. There is still a little more of me to love, or to warm your lap, but don't let that fool you -- I like to romp and play, and explore. I was surrendered by my adopters because their other cat was bullying me, and keeping me cornered and stressed. I have been treated for a urinary tract infection, but I am healthy now and using my box regularly. I will need to stay on a standard urinary tract health diet, and would probably do best as an only cat. DeeCee's adoption fee is $60 which is used to continue to provide medical care for other cats in need. DeeCee has been tested for feline leukemia and FIV (she is negative), spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, defleaed and dewormed—plus you get a free vet visit. You can meet this sweet girl at our partner Wags! Dog & Cat Emporium, 485 Coburg Rd #G, Eugene OR 97401. Then submit an adoption application for consideration at www.CatRescues.org/forms) or paper copy available at the store. Tammy
TAMMY is a shy and very sweet young female kitty about 3 ½ years old, with plush black fur. She was born to a neighborhood stray (and spayed with an ear tip), and went to live in a loving foster home where she learned to trust people. She was adopted as a kitten, but her first owner passed away. Tammy is active and playful, but it takes her a while to acclimate to a new situation or new people. Once you've earned her trust, however, she will purr for hours and enjoys all the chin rubs you can give her. Tammy needs to be the "top banana”, but she might be OK with a nondominant younger kitty. She is a very talkative kitty (especially when being ignored), and is fine with children who are gentle with her. She is a diamond in the rough and with a little TLC, she will be the perfect companion for the right somebody. TAMMY has been tested for feline leukemia and FIV (she is negative), spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, defleaed and dewormed, plus you get a free vet visit. Tammy is currently in foster care. For adoption consideration, complete an application at www.CatRescues.org/forms or paper copy available at either Eugene PetSmart store. Once we have your application, a volunteer will call to determine best fit and arrange a possible meet/greet. Tammy's adoption fee is just $75 which allows us to continue to provide care and find loving homes for abandoned and neglected cats in our Eugene/Springfield community. Tana'i
TANA'I is a beautiful and sweet black and white tuxedo female adult kitty. One veterinarian estimated her age at 3 years old and another at 6 years old but we believe her to be closer to 3. She was found homeless and pregnant and subsequently had her babies after she was rescued. Her kittens grew up and were adopted and Tana'i has been living in a loving foster home learning to trust humans. She loves head pets and chin scritches but is not a "needy" girl -- she would be the perfect kitty companion for someone who works a lot so she can save up her affections. Her favorite toys are a laser light and her stuffed ostrich and she goes completely silly for catnip. She would prefer a quiet home without noisy kids. She does well with other kitties after a proper introduction and might be OK with a respectful dog. She has been tested for feline leukemia and FIV (she is negative), spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, defleaed and dewormed – plus you get a free vet visit. Tana'i is currently in foster care. Her adoption fee is $75 which helps us pay it forward to other neglected and abandoned kitties. To meet her or for more information, call 541-225-4955 option 1 or send an email to www.CatRescues.org. Foster Parents Needed
[PLEASE NOTE THAT THESE ARE ALL PICTURES OF CATS THAT ARE ALREADY IN FOSTER CARE] West Coast fosters give their kitties lots of TLC and attention. Because of that, we have very well socialized cats that are readily adopted. BUT, we have reached capacity with our fosters. We need more fosters to help fulfill our mission of helping rescue special needs animals. Fosters are provided with all the food, bedding and litter the cat needs. We also pay all their medical expenses. Your part is to give them love and attention and how hard can that be? This is the perfect opportunity to have a pet without a life time commitment. Fostering lasts anywhere from one week to several months and YOU get to choose whether you foster bottle babies, kittens or adult cats AND how many. If you live in the Eugene/Springfield, Oregon area and have love to spare for these kitties, please call 541-225-4955.
